“Faith dares the soul to go further than it can see.”
-William Clark
What do you put your faith in? How has your faith strengthened your life?
I don’t consider myself to be a religious person, but I am spiritual. I put my faith in the universe, the sun, moon and stars, mother nature, and myself. If I want something to happen, I know I’ll do whatever I can to make it work. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll ask myself, “Have I done all that I can do to make it work?” If the answer is yes, I’ll come to the conclusion that it’s not meant for me, at least not at this point in time in my life.
I try to follow the idea that only things that are for my best interest will work out. If it doesn’t happen, then it’s probably wasn’t in my best interest from the beginning. It’s crazy how many things have happened that fit in this idea.
A small example that fits with the above – I’ve been needing new slippers but didn’t want to spend money on a cheap pair that I would need to replace in a year from now. I kept putting it off and putting it off. One day at my moms house, she had some stuff for my siblings and I to look through to take what we want. Guess what I find in there that just happened to be my size? That’s right, a pair of nice slippers.
Doubt kills more dreams than failure, and when you doubt yourself, it’s like killing every dream you’ve ever had before you even wake up. I’m rediscovering my faith in myself, and I know what I’m capable of.

What are your thoughts on the matter?
