About the Founder
“I experienced a “quarter life crisis” at the ripe young age of 27.
I doubted myself, my career, and my overall sense of purpose in life.
My concerns at work were going unaddressed and unnoticed, as if they didn’t matter.
I was struggling with mental health issues, afraid I may die in my sleep due to my epilepsy.
Nothing says wake up call like the eminent threat of death. ☠️
That’s when I knew something needed to change.
I started Phoenix Consulting on the idea of a new version of yourself is born from the ashes of the old you.
Where there is death, there is life.
It took several years for me to gain back my confidence, to rediscover who I am along with my purpose in life, but here I am- doing what I love. ❤️”
Dezerae Fish first founded Phoenix Rise Enterprise, LLC (later shortened to Phoenix Consulting), in July of 2023.
With a degree in Business Management combined with her experience since 2016, she decided to go into business for herself.
Since then, she has continued to advance her career through additional schooling, working on obtaining her bachelor’s in finance.
Dezerae is also active in local organizations, and joined her local chapter of the JCI (Junior Chamber Internationals), where she currently serves as the Vice President. The Junior Chambers are a group of young leaders who serve their communities by volunteering, fundraise for local charities, and pursue personal and professional development.
Achievements
Dezerae has since been recognized and awarded for her outstanding work throughout her career. For her entrepreneurial spirit, she was showcased on Influential Women’s Magazine for the December 2025 issue.
