“Worry doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.”

Write 10 things you can do when you start to worry.
Whenever I start to feel anxious, there’s a few things I do combat worry.
- Shower – sometimes cleansing the spirit is literal.
- Comb/style my hair – helps me feel more organized and prepared.
- Clean/organize my space – for me, anxiety is cluttering of the mind so it helps when I declutter my surroundings.
- Write – it helps me organize my thoughts, allowing me to focus on what matters.
- Sing – it’s hard – to feel anxious while singing.
- Call someone – just to check in and see how their day is going.
- Walk – fresh air clears the mind and gets the blood moving.
- Craft – keeping my hands busy forces my mind to pay attention on what their doing.
- Meditate – when all else fails, and I still feel lost with no direction, I’ll sit in silence, clear my mind and just be. All of my running tabs for the day are closed out, and the background running programs are ended. If there is one that seems to take longer to shut down, I know that’s the one I need to trouble shoot.
What do you do to combat worry? I’d love to hear more ideas!

What are your thoughts on the matter?
