Where to begin?
2024 Highlights:
January
-Learned about accounting, book keeping, and taxes.
February
-Purchased another kayak after my first one was stolen. :'(
– DJ’d a friends wedding.
March
-Went to a Stevie Nicks concert and it was magical.
-My daughter played spring soccer – her first “official” sport.
-Received my business logo.
-Brunch with m’ladies.
April
-Created a resume for a client.
-Sent my first official business proposal to a prospect for improving employee morale.
-Saw my mom get married.
-Installed new carpet, new bed/frame, new recliner, and shower walls at grandpa’s house to surprise him when he came home from the hospital.
-Planted my garden.
May
-Made Minnie her sweater for her birthday.
-First kayak of the season.
-Created a resume for another client.
-Took Minnie to her first concert: Willie Nelson.
-Paid off credit card.
June
-Started the Leadership Series.
-Fixed the ball joint on my car.
-First family vacation EVER to South Dakota.
-Waterpark!!
July
-Started full time job.
-Participated in the holiday parade.
-Set up another college savings fund.
-Pool parties!
-Local fair!
-New rear brake pads on my car.
-New exhaust system on my car.
-Family reunion/picnic!
August
-Annual get together with high school friends.
-Paid off the husband’s car loan.
-First sleepover!
-More pool parties!
-Eleventh year anniversary <3
-Fixed the bathroom.
-Girls camping trip!
-Family boating/fishing!
September
-New puppy: Bentley <3
-Team bonding day!!
-New wheel hubs on car and new speed sensor.
-Fixed other ball joint.
-Pumpkin patch!
October
-Business cards.
-Target practice at the indoor range.
-Halloween party!
-Extra payment towards another loan.
-Repotted plants.
-Halloween!!
November
-Saved two kittens from dying.
-Thanksgiving with m’ladies.
-Lunch at pop’s house with the siblings.
-Set up Christmas decorations!
-Filed the FinCEN report.
-Thanksgiving feast!
This is only a “brief” list of events I happened to have written down in my planner over the past year. A lot of great things happened – except the year isn’t over, yet! Only time will tell for the month of December.
