Here we go y’all – my top three pet peeves in no particular order.
-People underestimating my abilities because I’m either: a) a female or b) not smart enough to understand. I’ve had disagreements on directions, how to start a fire, how to do this and that, and the other thing. Gets old REAL quick and happens OFTEN. It’s 2024 – let’s all get with the program. Intelligence is not gender specific; never has been and never will be.
-When I send someone an email that contains all the details they need to know, and they don’t. fucking. read it. I once sent an email to a co-worker with the subject line: Questions. The body of the email contained the questions I was asking. She calls me and asks me what are my questions, to which I responded rather annoyed, it’s in the email. “OHHHH I didn’t read that far.” Yeah, no shit.
-When someone tries to pull a fast one on me, but they aren’t consistent with their lies, and I catch on. Nice try, asshole but it ain’t working.
As they say, it’s better to be pissed off than to be pissed on.
