My favorite artists, in no particular order, are as follows:
Mac Miller
His music not only reflects his transcendence throughout his career, but it also reflects his personal growth. One album is all about having fun and partying, whereas the next one explores the depth of emotions when close friends pass away. One talks about the love between him and his soulmate, with the following one describing how that relationship made him better and gave him a new outlook on life despite their breakup. I can listen to nearly any song on any album, and I always enjoy it.
Deftones
I never heard of them until I started dating my husband. Listening to their music while cruising along the highway at night is an ethereal experience. They have a mixture of soft and heavy songs. My favorite one describes the sensation of navigating the stars and exploring the universe. I can listen to these guys anytime, anywhere, and it always gives me goosebumps.
Bruno Mars
I listened to this guy A LOT when I was in high school. I still listen to him a lot, and I just really enjoy the “suave and fly” type of music he creates. It makes me want to dance!
Coldplay
Another band that my husband got me in to. Every time I listen to “Yellow”, it brings me back to when I’d drive my pickup to school. I’d take the scenic route, taking my sweet time getting to school. “The Scientist” is another one of my favorites.
Chappell Roan
Yes, I am on the Chappell Roan band wagon. Her songs are catchy and I like them – can’t help it! I like what she stands for and the fact that she doesn’t let Hollywood push her around.
Orville Peck
My husband shows me all kinds of great music. Without him, I wouldn’t expand my musical horizons. Orville Peck has a similar style to Chappell Roan, but instead of performing in a drag bar, it gives more of a “dive bar in the middle of nowhere” type of vibe; kind of like country music meets drag. I quite enjoy it.
Honestly, that’s kind of it right now. There are other artists that I like but none like these three that I listen to consistently.

What are your thoughts on the matter?
